Guest guest
It Will Pass A student went to his meditation teacher and said, " My meditation is horrible! I feel so distracted, or my legs ache, or I'm constantly falling asleep. It's just horrible! " " It will pass, " the teacher said matter-of-factly.A week later, the student came back to his teacher. " My meditation is wonderful! I feel so aware, so peaceful, so alive! It's just wonderful! " " It will pass, " the teacher replied matter-of-factly. (thinking of your earlier post) Change. Awareness. Change = awareness, awareness = change. And what is always *so* = no way to know. Like...not aware-able. Just pointing away from ideas of permanence, stasis, etc. Zero energy, zero awareness/consciousness. > > > And what is always *so* = no way to know. > > good >

Just pointing away from ideas of > permanence, stasis, etc. Zero energy, zero > awareness/consciousness. now isn't that interesting... so moving away from nailing down concepts to it not mattering what the concepts are that what matters is movement, openness, aliveness concepts can serve as strange attractors that hold the mind as mesmerized... and freedom from such sink-holes-of-thought as perhaps, not an *understanding* about them, but an indifference... when one actually has a *sense* of the aliveness of the moment... then one has a sense of what takes away from that... and dwelling on concepts takes away from that words and ideas that are expressed as a *movement*, as a dance of light upon dust motes, such that the dancing light moves on leaving no trace... so very different from concepts that are honed to perfection.
