Gandhi never received the Nobel Peace Prize, though he was nominated

for it five times between 1937 and 1948. Decades later however, the

Nobel Committee publicly declared its regret for the omission, and

admitted to deeply divided nationalistic opinion denying the award

to Gandhi. The Prize was not awarded in 1948, the year of Gandhi's

death, on the grounds that " there was no suitable living candidate "

that year, and when the Dalai Lama was awarded the Prize in 1989,

the chairman of the committee said that this was " in part a tribute

to the memory of Mahatma Gandhi " .

After Gandhi's death, Albert Einstein said of Gandhi: " Generations

to come will scarcely believe that such a one as this walked the

earth in flesh and blood. " He also once said, " I believe that

Gandhi's views were the most enlightened of all the political men in

our time. We should strive to do things in his spirit: not to use

violence in fighting for our cause, but by non-participation in

anything you believe is evil. "

Time Magazine named Gandhi as the runner-up to Albert Einstein

as " Person of the Century " at the end of 1999, and named The Dalai

Lama, Lech Wa³êsa, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Cesar Chavez, Aung

San Suu Kyi, Benigno Aquino Jr., Desmond Tutu, and Nelson Mandela as

Children of Gandhi and his spiritual heirs to the tradition of non-

violence.

The Government of India awards the annual Mahatma Gandhi Peace Prize

to distinguished social workers, world leaders and citizens. Nelson

Mandela, the leader of South Africa's struggle to eradicate racial

discrimination and segregation, is a prominent non-Indian recipient

of this honour. In 1996, the Government of India introduced the

Mahatma Gandhi series of currency notes in Rupees 5, 10, 20, 50,

100, 500 and 1000 denomination.

HO HAH HA HO!......Who's the fraud? look in the mirror. As for your

statement here. Bullshit! You check the facts. Just about when I

thought you had gone as low as you can go....when the water seemed as

shallow as it can get....you somehow or another seem to be able to

sink even deeper to the bottom and drain a little more out of the

pond. And in just a few words. What talent! What a hoax you are.

Well no duh! The dead Lady isn't picking her miracles nor even

calling her acts as such. That's some organized crime unit

called " The Church " that's doing that. Of course no one is perfect

and everyone is a fraud( " IN THE BIG PICTURE " and ALL that shit). But

some are less so than others my friend. Did you ever MEET her? Do you

KNOW as FACT that she was a fraud? Or are you stating someone's

opinion about her? Opinions are just, and only, that: opinions. And

all opinions are CHEAP goods. Someone is free to think and believe

and even express, whatever they want to in this Land of Freedom.

Maybe they don't like homosexuals. That, as Andy Rooney said is not

a " Phobia " ..it's an " Opinion " . But then to go on, and state something

like " they are frauds. They are leeches. They are pedophiles. They

are 'unnatural' and sinful or whatever, without first preambling that

statement with something like, " the following are my opinions, ideas,

thoughts,(or someone else's that I've read) etc., you are as guilty

of the Big Lie as Dr. Joe Goebbels, Mr. Adolph Hitler's PR Man. And

you are thereby in my opinion and in FACT,the fraud and the

hoax.Period. End of story. Unless toom, you can tell me a whole bunch

of your gee golly lets spin 'em a truism from your own PERSONAL life.

If indeed you knew Teresa and saw the fraudulent stuff....SHOW US!

And I'm not talking about some theological or philosophical or lets

be as non-dual as we can be bullshit fraud. I'm talking about your

implication in the statement you made here, and made without ANY

qualifiers whatsoever. And going to that interprative land is just

being a tad bit weasely, wouldn't you agree.
