Following anything is foolish.

But what is a fool?

There is the Sacred Fool (GSB)...

Which are you talking about?

The Sacred Fool does not follow anything at all --

which is why he is seen as a fool --

rather he just wanders in the aimless wonder.

Sounds anti-semantic to me. However I love Han Shan and Shih-te.

They make me laugh.

Day after day,

Alone on the hill,

The man with the foolish grin is keeping perfectly still,

But nobody wants to know him,

They can see that he's just a fool,

And he never gives an answer,

But the fool on the hill

Sees the sun going down,

And the eyes in his head,

See the world spinning 'round.

Well on his way head in a cloud,

The man of a thousand voices is talking perfectly loud

But nobody ever hears him,

Or the sound he appears to make,

And he never seems to notice,

But the fool on the hill

Sees the sun going down,

And the eyes in his head,

See the world spinning 'round.

And nobody seems to like him

They can tell what he wants to do.

And he never shows his feelings,

But the fool on the hill

Sees the sun going down,

And the eyes in his head,

See the world spinning 'round.

woah ooh,

Round and round and round.

He never listens to them,

He knows that they're the fool

They don't like him,

The fool on the hill

Sees the sun going down,

And the eyes in his head,

See the world spinning 'round.

In Truth they Love Him....they Are him. And they know it, and will

contest and fight that notion, tooth and nail.... because it can also

destroy them. It will eventually destroy them....each and every one.

And in that Time that is Now, there is Only Him. And LOVE without

second prevails. Not 'love'...that is just the other side of

hate...and in it's co-dependence negates the very bearing it proports

itself as having. When LOVE is, BEING is.. and already is but for

nonrecognition of the inescapable, final, and first, undeniable and

unfounded, unbelievable, and utter TRUTH. We are all fools and will

be the FOOL........knowing Nothing in HIGH INDIFFERENCE. This is a

dark saying but is consummate and unmitigated FACT. And I love that

tune! When I was younger.....many years ago...I was in a musical

group that did 'covers' on all of the Lad's airs, 'on the air'. We

played 'em in every saloon across the continent it seemed, until we

could start doing our own stuff...... Who's stuff????????????
