Guest guest
It is said that many miracles happened in Jesus' life. They are the same miracles which have been happening to many spiritual leaders throughout time. For example, it is said he was able to walk on water. It is not a fact, remember -- Jesus is not so foolish.....so foolish as to walk on water. There is no need to walk on water. Then what does it mean? It is a poetic expression, it is a metaphor. It simply means he was able to do the impossible . And what is the most impossible thing in the world? The most impossible thing in the world is to transcend the world. The most impossible thing in the world is to know oneself. The most impossible thing in the world is to become utterly empty. This is just metaphor, " walking on water " ; we shouldn't take this as fact. All of the supposed miracles are poetic ways of saying certain things. Jesus, Buddha and many other people lived on the earth and yet they belonged not to the earth. They were not earthly people, they were utterly unearthly. Let's not be misguided by religious fanatics who go on emphasizing that these metaphors are not metaphors but facts, that these poetic expressions are not poetic expressions but part of history. Be a little more poetic if you really want to understand the great teachers. Jesus is walking amongst the people and performing miracles. Suddenly a man falls at his feet and says, " Lord Lord, cure me, cure me! " " Calm down, son. Have faith and you will be cured. " Jesus moves closer to the man and looks into his eyes, then backs away and signals to Peter to come over. As Peter draws near, Jesus whispers to him, " It's not going to work, Peter. Pretend we have to go -- he's got cancer! " The point of most teachers is to make people intelligent, not believers. Jesus nor Buddha were out to create a relgion about themselves. There are no miracles. There is only one miracle -- THE miracle -- and that is your being utterly empty. The death of the ego is the only miracle; if that happens you have known what eternity is; you have gone beyond time.

All teachers who have become 'religions' created by the masses, the followers, have said in one form/way or another: I Am.... ....We Are One... then rules were made, and the essence of their truth disappeared into codes that only a few were 'chosen' to understand. And followers of followers appeared as the perfect love Buddha and Jesus and Mohammad taught became secondary to the 'religion' created by their followers. Wealth and political power are the true driving forces of those organized crime rings known as the Churches.......the spirit isn't even a consideration within those gangs. If it were... the hungry would be fed, the lonely comforted, the needy assisted and on and onwards. It's incredible that the founders of those so called religions were desperately trying to get people to break away from the shameful hypocricy and obvious miscarriages of spirit in the traditions they were born in...only to have their followers go out and create even bigger and more shameful and fraudulent constructions of properties and mortar and marble and gold and silver and incense and bells and raiments of kings for the officiators.....you know what we're talking about one to another here. They were as you say all saying the same thing and that was to discover the true wealth, kingdoms, way and life that is each and every one of our birthrigts from the start. Peace on Earth as it IS in Reality .........bob
