Hi always wondered how to get on NDS highlights with my poetry.

So...? Little loser? Hmmm.

p.s. my son was scared of clowns and cried when we took him to the

circus. I think we scared him forever when my husband took him to

see that movie, you know which one....

I sure do......and that is a scary movie. Fact is, I can really

relate to your son. Long ago when very, very young, clowns scared the

bejesus out of your's truly. Even Clarabelle was a little

disconcerting in his mute ways, and seltzering people all over the

place; but, I loved Howdy and Buffalo Bob and Chief Thundercloud and

Princess Winterspring Summerfall and the whole gang of puppets...so I

abided that scary dufus just for the peanut gallery and the rest of

the show. Thank my lucky stars though, there came a time when on

Detroit TV came a show called Milky's Showtime " (if memory

serves).....and he was a wonderful and unscary kinda guy. Kid's got

to say the 'magic words' Twin Pines, which was the name of a local

Detroit Dairy(and the show's sponsor, of course), and then stick a

hand into a fishbowl of pennies and keep everything they could hold.

Wow! that was terrific and I still love my memories of Milky and the

old western movies he presented on his show. And he cured my fear of

big bad clowns....except for when I was taken to the Shrine or

Ringling Brothers' Circuses out at the old Colosseum at the Michigan

State Fairgrounds. Even the great Emmett Kelly, who was running

around the rings could get me a tad fearful. But it all passed and

now I love clowns....so much so that I've become on at heart.
