L.E: Would it be better to just live it out, then spend your efforts typing

at a computer keyboard, and looking at a screeen? I mean, what a job, making

signposts. What will the next one read?

you are ever here now...now...now...now...not a thing

there never was a yesterday...

there will never be a tomorrow...

all is now...now is full...stay aware

thought is in the now...if there is one

whatever the thought...stay detached

totaly detached, means totaly empty, means totaly full

means instant-contact(not with anything at all,

not the me in contact with something)contact here means what can not

be put into words....pure being itself

the words are mere signposts, not the (thing)

like the word icecream isnt cold, and doesnt really taste anything

so is the word being not ...and maby it can be as much misleading as

it can be a signpost....

if there is clinging to the word being, it always points away from

the real (thing)...iietsa

why put yourself in such a (situation)?

words could be signposts if there would be something to be pointed to.

signposts is all there is...so before clinging to one or

another...beware, or get stuck with what you stick with...

good signposts says " dont get stuck in the stuckness " ...

bad signposts says " run faster, run slower, run better "

after all the making signpost-job, unfortunately is one of the most

needed jobs around, thou everybody is running around believing what

is not....iietsa

You must remember this

A kiss is just a kiss

A sigh is just a sigh

This fundamental thing applies

for words and signs

And when two things like this

Are taken so amiss

On this you can rely

No matter what you think it is

It's just a lie

It's still the same old story

A fight for words and glory

A case of do or die

And signposts welcome lovers

As words goes by

variation on a theme by Herman Hupfeld, seen as unremarkable when

written fot the Broadway show 'Everybody's Welcome' in the early

1930s, but a huge success in the war time early 1940s and used in the

movie 'Casablanca'. must have been the words in the lyrics and the

signposts with Bogie and Ingrid Bergman lookin' so caught up.

>maby it appears as " A fight for words and glory " to somebody...

but I am after nothing...I am offering nothing...

its just like the wispering wind in the trees...

it comes and it goes...so are the words...they are not to offend or

impress...they are only signs...listen without the mind interfering

and it is just like wind...wind is more or less what you make it...

if you put your mind to it...and without mind, who can tell what it

is?

iieatsa......hold on a sec! this post was supposed to be a fun

little thing with Dooley Wilson singing in the background, like in

that classic flic. That part(about the story and glory and do and

die), comes directly from the tune.. the only variations I added were

regarding the words: words and signposts. If it at all offended you,

I'm sorry but listen to your words here: " listen without the mind

interfering and it is just like wind...wind is more or less what you

make it... " and I agree with that. good advise for both of us

wouldn't you agree? I'm not after anything myself except an

occasional laugh. Again...sorry for offence taken, none meant or

implied.

I dont see it that way(offending)...

I lay nothing in the words,

so there is really nothing hitting back

all is ok...

all is empty

empty is full

nothing is wrong

just being ,and that wispering wind

wind can be windy or not...only mind can turn it into sour milk...

and then hold on to it...and become for example (offended)

Glad you feel that way. I didn't take offence at any place in this

exchange. thought you had. too bad about your not enjoying the jest

though,or your not seeing it or whatever. It sure wasn't written in

reaction to any perceived offence, or to give any. and I still find

it funny as a bunny on a loon. you are giving yourself some good

advice though.....I don't need it, I'm having too much fun to need

it..not offended anywhere in here so I don't see the point in

pointing that stuff out, unless as I say it's for your own self....oh

right, we are always, and only, talking to ourselves.. about

ourselves.. and it's all blissfully and beautifully all the same ONE.

LOL
