there is such a thing as dignity of death

I have seen it,

to bear the sorrow of losing one's life

of letting go

every thought

every love

every moment of sun and rain

every rainbow, every flower

the darkness the light

the joy the pain

 

to give meaning to the last breath:

I have been here this day

I have walked this way

and now I leave,

do not weep for me for I have lived
