Guest guest
These are my notes and realizations relating to a vidio tape I just saw of a Gangaji satsang: ------ Just stop. The only thing that is hard to do is the doing. The stopping is not a doing and is not hard; it is nothing. What keeps the mind there is the use of it. The resolution of the mind is its non use. The mind says first I must understand and then I will be free, but the truth is, be free and then I can understand. The mind works to end the pain and fear, yet the mind is the source of all pain and fear. Who is failing? Who dies? Who stops? Who makes the effort to understand? See these questions not as an effort to find an answer, but rather as a life long lookingness that is conscious and that has no name or label. Only a named thing can die or fail. Remove the label. Recognize that which has no label as that which looks. Recognize that the looking is not from a viewpoint for no-thing is not located and so has no viewpoint. What is there to contrast or be the background for that which looks but has no labels? For something to exist it must resist something. --------- Stu
