Guest guest
L.E: Dying with dignity is something those who are going to keep on living say about those who are about to stop living. Dignity is part of the ego's descriptions of evaluation and judgement as it tries to measure who and what is valuable and worthwhile to it. There are those who die gently in their sleep with no histronics or great and obvious suffering, and these we can say, died with dignity. And there are many who do not as they are torn open or apart by bombs, firing squads, or in the torture dungeons run by the American CIA and police throughout the world. And there is death by cancer and other diseases, wrenched, gooey and full of screaming pain. We, the ego, can evaluate and judge which deaths have dignity, calm, quiet peacefulness and those that don't. Some deaths are quiet and peaceful and others are not. It is not difficult to say which had dignity and which did not. Larry Epston
