And we can't survive with just feeling. And we all feel. I don't think you offer a solution. The solution is more in the area of false, untrue, inaccurate beliefs and assumptions. Beliefs are an aspect of thinking, the mind, and giving them up as a way of seeing life would change things for the better. p.s. I usually like your poetry, I just disagree with some of your ideas. Tell us more. The mind can be a great tool for " how " . For determining the purpose of a journey, for determining the destination for a journey, the mind is worse than lousy. In other words, the heart must lead. The mind is a mere servant. The mind is a part of the equation, yes, but a subordinate part. Have you ever seen something that made you cry because of its beauty? Then you have seen/felt with your heart. Have you ever seen something that made you cry because of the deep sorrow there? Then you have seen/felt with your heart. The heart doesn't " see a part of " but always *experiences* the whole of. And what is seen with the heart is not seen as good or bad, but simply what is. To behold with the heart is a kind of nakeness. There is nothing " safe " about it. Bill
