Perhaps you should read the quote again.

That's not at all what Camus was saying.

He speculates that this 'absurdity' thing is somehow separate from

this 'man' thing and has the ability to slap the man thing in the face.

In conceptually separating the elements.....his construct becomes

meaningless.

Bob,

I have read all those old quotes in the past.

It would be most thrilling to hear your own thoughts about these matters.

no it wouldn't toom..not for you..you don't want to hear what anyone

has to say except for yourself...and then you try to pull off the " I

have no choice " bullshit, and veil as much as is possible, anything

that you are trying to say.....now you are assuming to say what Camus

is REALLY saying...I'm getting nauseous with your churlish,

deadening, ho-hum tiring nonsense, as well as your flowingness....and

have no use for playing stupid games...and I'm not suggesting that

anyone has a choice in the matter...that's just the way the

fowingness flows. oh I am aware that you have read everything that

there is to read, and that's amazing as there is, after all nothing

to read. and 'old' doesn't apply in some supposed time stream.

downstream from the violence of I am...all is illusion.you know this

you silly guy.what am I doing trying to tell you anything about

anything...another good reason not to tell you my thoughts that are

not.

THIRST

When we thirst

In the middle of the desert

And the mirages keep us

From seeing the oasis,

As the green in palm trees sway

To a gentle breeze

And the coolest water is found in a deep well.

Neither Jesus nor Mohammed nor Buddha

Nor the saints nor the prophets nor Krishna

Forget how still water flows throuh a human Soul,

Purity is but a recollection of ocean in the salt of a body,

Parching lips that thirst and hunger for the words of God.

Infinite Love,

Ana

Words from the past........spoken to the moment......are dead.

Rechewed thoughts have little nutritional value.

Reading other's thoughts about surfing the moment is far different

then surfing the moment.

Come on Bob.

Its time to leave those waterwings in shore.....They will never permit

you to get into the deep quiet places.

no thoughts pal......I'm surfing the now, now. I'll let you know when

I have some thoughts about the moment that you can then not only

read...but read into.. as you do all the things that are said by

others past.... or present. never used waterwings toom....throw me

you pair...and I know you keep a spare pair for those that would

follow your piping into that imaginary quiet place that appears deep

to you but is really only a foot deep.....here's another tip toom...a

closed mouthes gathers no feet.

If you think that you are surfing the 'now'......you aren't.

(This is a profound one Bob......read it one more time before you

dismiss it.)

I niether dismissed it nor tossed it away... I responded to your

post. please reread my answer toom.I did not state that I thought

anything....I said.. " no thoughts " . and then I added " I am surfing the

now,now " ...not 'thinking' about it......where do you see that? I

believe you've missed the profundity of that answer toom...please

study before jetting off another admonition or suggestion.if you're

thinking your post was profound....it wasn't. Please don't dismiss

this before a reconsideration.
