It is facing all the things that you want as though they are that which you won't get and all that you must not experience, as though they are things you are definitely going to experience. The purpose of this being to blow apart all of your addictions to " must haves " and " can't haves " . An exercise: List all the things I hope will someday come to pass, and fully experience the certainty that these things will never happen for me. For example: I will be the one person on earth that will never be enlightened. I will never know love. Pain and fear will always fill my life and hold all of my attention forever. My penis will shirvel up and fall off! LOL All that is good will suffer and die away. Can I feel joy over these? Grab hold of negative reactions and feelings, neither to turn them into a positive pole nor to bury them, but rather to experience the non dual joy that is at the core of these and all things. - Gangaji ------- Stu If you fall in Love with Truth, Anything can happen. There is always the deep happiness of walking with, in and toward what you love. ** If you do not wish to receive individual emails, to change your subscription, sign in with your ID and go to Edit My Groups: /mygroups?edit=1 Under the Message Delivery option, choose " No Email " for the Nisargadatta group and click on Save Changes.
