Baby monkeys, properly fed by a machine, but deprived of contact with others monkeys, or humans, will die in a few weeks. Nature knows that not properly taken care by adults a baby's chances to survive is nil. So it tries to speed up death. All needs are equally needed, sex is not less worthy than love. Fun is not less important than virtue. Christian morality is the uptight, repressive view of a few neurotic old men. Get over it!

I'd take a look into those " needs " of yours if I was you. Perhaps they're not needs at all, but rather greed, based on a misunderstanding. I remember sitting with my back to a tree and somehow merging with it. Or a squirrel that came from a distant tree to within a few feet and just look at me. no need involved in either case.
