strikes me as rude to attribute a " problem " to another

in an unsolicited manner such as this.

it is a low-ball technique... in my view.

it is also totally subjective. Marc didn't say he had

a problem. You did. That is your attribution to Marc.

it would be just as sound a statement for me to declare:

" You, toombaru, are totally confused, indeed pathetically

and pathologically confused. " [i don't agree with that

statement, BTW :)

but if I *were* to state such it would have as much footing

as your statement about Marc's putative " problem " .

making unfounded " you statements " about other members of

the list does not uplift but does the opposite.

if what one thinks to say is not to uplift, then why say it?

felt I needed to speak up on this.

It was Mark that referred to his personal joy of being.

Nisargadatta said that the love (joy) of being is the problem long

before I did.

Rudeness has its place.....Nis would sometimes yell at people and kick

them out of his house.

Seekers can live off of sugar only so long......then it is meat they want.

I know.......someone...........sometime told you:

" If you can't say anything good.........don't say anything " .

But that person was full of fear....and useless information.

say what you will, I find what you said not only rude but

inappropriate, and not provoking of depth and deeper inquiry.

your " Nis defence " does not apply as Marc's comment was not at

of the sort that would draw Nis's umbrage.

and if you see Nis as recourse for justification, note also

that he said, " Don't criticise others! "

I am saying, let us be courteous to one another.

Why do you have a problem with that?

Let's ask Mark.

If it is courtesy he wants.....that is what I will offer.

What say you Mark?

For Heaven's sake toombaru... you speak of courtesy as

some sort of affectation, as something one *does*.

Courtesy flows naturally from an open heart.

yes....always easier to speak to real people.... " who " know that they

aren't this little ego-mind....restless......

and so....who know and feel and live.....this peace of living a free

mind.....a liberated mind......

far for this little " word-fights " .....from this little " mind-

fights " .......far from this little " word-games " .....

far from this little " definitions " and

famous " words " ....of " whoever " .....

there is only one " voice " .....

without the energy of being......one could even no open the mouth to

say something......

one could even not move the fingers...to write few words in here....

in communication with oneSelf.....

Marc

Ps: you " offer " whatever you like to.....to " whoever " you like to.....

or you don't.....

i have no problem with it.....

thanks
