I don't know:-) But to me falling is a sensation in relation to a thing that isn't falling or is falling at a different speed, so if I feel falling I am feeling contrast with the opposite pole of falling... the background to falling, which for me is " not falling " . But what I just described is polar, and maybe you are describing something that is not polar?
