.......................................................

to hear Silence, one has to walk behind Silence..

in every day`s life.

Walk behind...

I wonder if that makes sense to anyone?

Sure. Don't you mean that silence is always beyond our control, but

that if we are particularly attentive, devoted, we can appreciate it's

sovereign direction, thus, we can follow it, bask in it? Like

authentic love, authentic love, actually.

sort of...

to me...

Silence is boundless... neither big nor small,

but boundless

and whatever happens is inseperable from Silence

so with a little stretch I could say that

Silence is " behind " what is " in every day's life " .

To realize Silence as the one reality... with all

phenomena seen as dreams floating in Silence...

I could call that " walking in Silence " .

So my version of what you have said is:

To know Silence is to walk in Silence

which is to dwell in that which is " behind "

the phenomena of daily life.

So not exactly what you have said, but seems

pretty close.

You, me, or both? I renounce the metaphor, it's too sticky. I'm not

touching it. You've obviously touched it. For now. The next instant

is another universe altogether. See you there. Bye!

Can't give it to you, not before you have taken the Tar out of your

ears and walk the Asphalt road that brings you to the Bitumened

heaven of Silence.
