I found that there were still episodes of anger, fear, rage, sexual attraction and hurt. Yet, I found that there was no 'concept of suffering'. There were episodes where there was some physical ache and pain yet, there was no 'concept of suffering'. I noticed that the 'concept of suffering' is based on a firmly held 'concept of self'. I need to perceive myself apart from everything else in order to 'experience' suffering. When I don't stand apart from 'what is happening', there is no me to suffer even when the experience is bodily painful.

Before that the experience and I are one or it is more accurate to say that... there is no me other than the experience. There is no me apart from what is happening. I am not apart from [my?] perceptions and what I think as 'me' is just another of [my?] perceptions. I am what I experience. I am the experience. And, the 'perception of self' is just another experience. The concept of suffering arises when I overlay my present experience of self into another experience that I had and say - this happens to " me " [ " me " that I experience now]. I noticed that suffering happens through memory only. When I am fully immersed in an experience, there is no separate me to experience suffering. Suffering comes little [or long] later when I gain separate awareness; when I gain a thought of " me " and the thought of " what happened to me " . It happens when I strongly believe both these thoughts and when I strongly adhere to this thought of " me " and insist that it is something concrete and really independent of thoughts. I noticed that suffering happens through memory only.
