Guest guest
There are two possible states for me: 1) Complete aliveness... 2) something arises Something specific can only be in 2). The Now, the complete aliveness, is like countless teeth that shred anything offered. The practice, then, is to offer whatever should arise in 2) into the jaws of Now. Thus the practice is ever-returning to 1), the moment something arises, returning to 1). So it is a practice of casting anything that arises into the fire of Now. Today I got some heavy news from a friend. I have noticed it weighing on my heart. So what can I do? Only one thing. Offer it into the fire of Now. The very heaviness in my heart. Offer it into the fire of Now. And as I watch that heaviness disintegrate in the blaze I see only Love. Bill

Bliss happens in union. YIL, Ana If I were the sun, I would dream Purple mists, of majesty and I would sing so beautifully I would Move mountains, Return as endless Golden Wheatfields, Bread Touched by Lovers who flew Too close to fire, Too close but not near enough… Never near enough… If I were the moon, I'd hide In water and break waves and waves Of ecstasy, Held in the arms of Lovers who Swam oceans to come undone, To be near, To breathe water, To feel wet… To be free… If I were the stars, I'd disappear Into Night and yearn For all Lovers to melt Into lust, into desire, And fall from grace, Fall as leaves Dancing in the scents of wind, In the baking of bread In tasting one another, A simple pleasure… A simple task… If I were the earth, I would shelter thee A naked promise, Dirt poor, but not impoverished A shining face of one small child, smiling In heaven, laughing out loud At the folly of Lovers, Of Poets Of Words Of distances Lovers create To return to one another In the secrets of children, In the hearts of dirty-faced Angels, A memory... 11/11/05 published in a book called " LOVE WHISPERS " Love, Ana

Guest guest
good ol nyeti nyeti (not this, not that). it is time tested. i was reading i think it was on the acalayoga blogspot where ramana said he never did sadhana in his life. he said he didn't even know what sadhana was until later when he learned about all the different kinds. he said he was either sitting with his eyes closed or sitting with his eyes open. that's all. he said if he sat with his eyes closed people said he was in samadhi. & if he wasn't talking, then people said he was in mauna. he said he actually did nothing. i kid u not. dc Nisargadatta , " pliantheart " <pliantheart wrote: > > There are two possible states for me: > 1) Complete aliveness... > 2) something arises > > Something specific can only be in 2). > > The Now, the complete aliveness, is like countless teeth > that shred anything offered. > > The practice, then, is to offer whatever should arise > in 2) into the jaws of Now. > > Thus the practice is ever-returning to 1), > the moment something arises, returning to 1). > > So it is a practice of casting anything that arises > into the fire of Now. > > Today I got some heavy news from a friend. > I have noticed it weighing on my heart. > So what can I do? > Only one thing. > Offer it into the fire of Now. > > The very heaviness in my heart. > > Offer it into the fire of Now. > > And as I watch that heaviness > disintegrate in the blaze > I see > only Love. > > Bill >
