Guest guest
" To hold all this in one's heart is indescribable. " Ram Das Below from openmindopenheart.org Scott Morrison The Peace That Depends on Nothing We cannot create peace. Peace is already the nature of consciousness, and it is revealed when we stop: clinging, craving, hoping, expecting, demanding, judging, denying, ignoring, resisting, attacking, condemning, blaming, hating, gossiping, justifying, worrying, fearing, denying, competing, trying to control, obsessing on whatever or whomever we imagine ourselves to be (and how we are doing), hurting ourselves, hurting others, and holding on to how we want things to be. When those motives are no longer dominant, we are free to be what we are, and follow our true nature, which is awareness, understanding, insight, affection and compassion. That's Peace. They are not not now......nor have they ever been our enemies. They were the best that we could do at the time. And they did their job.....perfectly. We survived a most horrendous war. And here we are.....standing on the edge of the unknown. The best teachers in the history of the world sit on your shelves. We have heard the answer a hundred times. It is so simple that we find it hard to believe. But there it. Right in front of you. Take it. It's all yours. toombaru
