As if something very REAL was hitting me... as if some kind of recognition in what I was reading in the poem. It was quite astonishing. Bill P: Since you insist, let me say a few words. First, I think Pat's poem is good. When I began to have my firsts insights, sometimes, tears came to my eyes. Later, I understood those tears came from sentimentality ( The valuing of insights and fine emotions as a sign of progress.) Those tears came from a person who was still there valuing, and being grateful for what he thought were undeserved gifts from a higher X, or nature. Now, I'm not implying you are a beginner, but that you are more like a Saint Theresa of Avila, always send adrift, and tossed about by holy waves, and fine emotions.
