Pat: If Bill was a little more macho, like Brother Juan,

maybe his artwork wouldn`t be as beautiful, as

sensitive.

P: Yes, wise sister, I was a mucho macho man once,

and what a pain in the butt that was, for me and others,

but there is a neutral point between sentimentality and

insensitivity, and art need not to be either.

Pat: Maybe Bill isn`t at all like Brother Juan.

And although i like Brother Juan, I wouldn`t want

Brother Bill to be the same way.

P: Dear one, we're all the same impersonality.

No feeling, no matter how lofty,

is permanent.

Pat: sister Patricia that loves brothers the way they

come.

P: I love you both the way you are, and the way

'you' will be when 'both' cease to feel like 'you's.' ;)

D: Yeah - bite your tongue! I know that isn't easy, but it can be

done (speaking from years of practice). Hey, maybe I'm not against

practices after all, huh?

Ana, Werner is expressing compassion. Compassion comes in many forms.
