B: Those who ridicule such are nothing less than fools.

 

P: I have no problem with being regarded as a fool,

but I won't plead guilty to trying to ridicule you. I think

the role of emotions of joy, rapture, love, gratitude etc

is a very important area of inquiry in realization. Most

masters regard the seeking, or overvaluing of such

emotions as another form of attachment to pleasure,

and any attachment is a hindrance to freedom.
