That which at first appears as a terrifying void turns turns out to be

empty in the same sense that space is empty and at the same time is

filled completely and fully with manifestation.

Space and manifestation are mutually codependent.

Space enfolds.....embraces......connects the infinite manifestation

yet never interferes with it.

Manifestation fills......flows...emerges....and disappears......all

with no effect upon the space in which it occurs.

Neither can exist without the other........and yet they are the same.

Bows my Beloved,

What can I say about space that you haven't said? I can only say

we have filled one another well.

Emptiness if fullness. Fullness is emptiness.

Love completes itself, without beginning without ending.

when you speak of space and manifestation, are

you just talking about concepts?

You say neither of space and manifestation can exist

without the other. Does that mean that the

*concepts* of space and manifestation cannot exist

without the other? Or does it mean something more

than or different from that?

That which you seek is not contained within the concepts.

You seek that which is seeking.

See that..........and the walls come a tumblin down.

You look back.....and see the city lights.....you turn into the

trackless unknown.....a dog barks.......the caravan moves on.

First you speak to yourself,

As you always are,

Then, holding on to this profound discovery,

You post it on this list.

For what reason?

Is that a trick question? [we all know there is no such thing

as " mind " , yes?]

And to whom is the question addressed?

Oh yes, as you said, it is all to yourself!

The following space is gratuitously provided for

" you " to provide the answer to the question " you "

have just posed to " yourself " :

___________

___________

___________

___________

Your imaginary friend,

Bill

'Mind'is the name that the mysterious thought stream gives to itself.

The illusory entity emerges as the gravitational center of the

swirling mnemonic debris.

You did not see toombaru or Patricia that day in Cambria.

You saw fleeting phantoms ....reflected within the vast hall of

mirrors that you call " Bill " .

You saw your own memories ...solidified.

The entire universe flows through your synapses.

Ain't that a kick in the ass?

perhaps in some thought streams that name comes up...

but not in all...

within *this* mini-galaxy of synapses that particular

label definitely does not come up...

nor does the notion " thought stream " ...

because no thought stream here...

here there is either no " stream " at all

(i.e. Sparkling Now)

or a rather viscous " swirl " ... kind of a lava lamp

with a rotational orientation...

expanding/collapsing

sucking into " black holes "

to then " bloom " again as new

" energy swirls "

so yeah, no thought stream...

>

> The illusory entity emerges as the gravitational center of the

> swirling mnemonic debris.

nice line!

And I mean that in a strictly aesthetic sense...

like a verbal lava lamp...

Well, the term " Bill " always seems rather remote

and arbitrary... like being reminded that I live

in Gilroy, CA... okay yeah, but not very significant.

also notion of " universe " not very real here...

this swirling glomb of consciousness (or whatever)

is all there is ... and it is decaying borning again

every moment (or two...)

not enough time for any notion of " universe " to construct.

but yes it is a kick in a sense... I mean

here I am supposedly " communicating with someone "

when all this is happening by itself...

just a swirling/sparkling " life " that

just does what it does.

in a way it all (I mean advaita, per my view) comes

down to this one thing: IN THIS SWIRLING SPARKLING

MOMENT ALL HAPPENS BY ITSELF. A theory of " self " is

not required because everything " works " on its own.

There is no effort to be on a " right path " or make

a right decision etc. It is like being blind drunk

yet somehow managing with aplomb.

I like Nisargatta's phrase: perpetual astonishment.

Even the tiniest of tiny prick

trying explaining the unexplainable

means missing the boat big time.

To ask that is itself to entail such a " belief " ...

OR to acknowledge that no such belief on " either end "

is possible (since no one to *have* it).

Take your pick.

Bill (or *was* that Bill?)

Mind....as experienced from within the human mechanism.......is the

very best that Life has to offer.

There is no consciousness beyond or more advanced then the mind of man

in all of manifestation.

This is IT.

This is the cutting edge........of what is.

There is nothing behind you.......nothing in front of you.

Your're It.

What more could be wanted then this?

Indeed.........every question arises from within the false assumption

of a self to whom it could be referenced.

For instance:

What happened when early sailors fell over the edge of the earth?

or

How dirty was Cinderella's dress?

Question assume not only separate distinct objects but also assume a

psychological self who is doing the asking.

What is the best way to break this somnambulism?

Well.........it can't be broken.

But when it is seen for what it is....it self destructs....and in its

place........an ever fresh astoundment.......moving to the rhythm of

the moment.

But...........I know....you know this.

I can feel it.......at the place where our edges blur.

-What about answering a question? Just as false?

Whom are you replying to in the first place.
