Guest guest
Noise means a sound which doesn't convey information to its hearer . Obviously, a dog barking conveys information to another dog, or to the dog's owner. So, noise is a matter of opinion, or mood, of what it's considered pleasant, or unpleasant at the moment. Is there silence when sound is absent? Is there silence when you are reading this? Can there be silence when absorbing information? Can there be silence when thinking? Silence ( in a spiritual sense) is an spaciousness which muffles all disturbances, which renders all information irrelevant. Silence is not the absence of any thing, but that, in which, all things become equally irrelevant. Pete

P: Pete is a band of brain monkeys tap dancing in a hollowed skull. Sometimes, they take a break, and then, there is only silence, and no hearer thereof.
