But, only if it occurs that who I am may not be solely defined by the terms of the survival project (which Nisargadatta referred to as the consciousness associated with the food-eating body), will I now knock to know who it is that I am. I may knock according to the books and teachings of my traditions, and seek an answer that confirms what I know must be the case.
