It is the most common of deceptions among peoples of the earth since Time immemorial.....and nobody ever stops trying to convince you that they have a handle on the Real Deal, even your own self. Jesus was observing not only the Pharisees but his own diciples and incarnate self as Man....this was one of his most self depreciatory statements and also one of his wisest. ......bob

Guest guest
>>Jesus was >>observing not only the Pharisees but his own diciples and incarnate >>self as Man....this was one of his most self depreciatory statements It was not a self depreciatory statement nor was Jesus talking of himself. Whoever has a Bible can read that Jesus was speaking only of the Pharasees and advising his disciples to, " Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. " (1st part of the previously quoted verse) Any interpretation beyond this is imagination gone wild. Another quote: " Don't follow leaders; watch the parking meters.
