Thanx very much for your reply Lulu,

Are you the only person in here,

who thinks like that,

what about the others,

what is their opinion?

I would appreciate an answer.

Who am I?

My name is Elvira Caldwell; age 32 ; divorced ; one child (boy) ; I live

in Switzerland in a small town called Brüttisellen.

My knowledge of Nisargadatta is rather limitted, so I am having to ask a few

questions more then who I am, if I didn't answer that one already. :)))

As a new member of this group, I'm wondering if everyone uses the

same definitions of I am, awareness and consciousness as Nisargadatta uses.

As Anita Firely said in one of her talks years ago, " During the

break, looking into each others' eyes, I realized that the same

consciousness that I was looking at was looking at me. "

That consciousness is to me the " I am " consciousness that Nisargadatta talks

about, be it now aware of it or not.

Agreed?

Hi Elvira,

whatever is the (shared) consciousness...

however is this (shared) consciousness....

whenever is this (shared) consciousness....

whoever has this (shared) consciousness....

......if it set " you " free.....thats all it should be about....no?

whenever/however/whatever is free.....

is surely the Same real nature.....existing within imaginary

others.....

If you wish to know the truth,

then hold to no opinions for or against anything.

To set up what you like against what you dislike

is the disease of the mind.

The statement 'I realized' throws her right back into the duality soup.

It is consciousness itself that it is looking into its own eyes.

It is the I am that becomes translucent when this apperception

occurs.....and the natural world shines through.
