waste?

self?

indulgence?

sounds like food for rage:

judgment?

is it?

and how do you 'know'

and understand this

for less than a moment?

no one does

attachment to what is known is the

very existence of false self

abandonment of what is known is abandonment/

extinction of false self

absence-of-self inherently eschews knowledge

i don't doubt your sincerity.

but where is your heart here?

there is a nihilistic glee

that merely thrills at

deconstruction for its own sake

it's a sublimated rage:

have you noticed its

continual resurgence?

emptiness without warmth

feels cold and angry to me

may we inquire within

for any conclusions

(preferably tentative ~

from my point of view)

a single moment in which all one knows and understands

is not abandoned is a moment wasted in self-indulgence.

Hi Bill,

The second sentence mentioning " attachment' is key

I'm having a similar conversation at GR and IMO there is nothing wrong with

knowing

Good point Era!

And I agree.

I used the term " abandon " to emphasize

a total disregard for any accumulation

of " knowledge " ...

What I actually spoke of was abandoning

all " one knows or understands " . If *one*

understands/knows that is ownership and

well in need of abandoning.

What you are talking about is, it seems,

more a " free floating " sort of knowing

that is not " owned by someone " ...

so yeah, attachment = ownership the key.
