Guest guest
I don't remember " spiritual inquiry " EVER " working " for me... when I am really " stressed " , tense or un-peaceful! It has given me " fake " turnarounds, superficial temporary cover-ups, thin evaporating layers around my " stress " - but, I don't remember it EVER freeing me from it! Sometimes I have done " spiritual inquiry " when " stressed " and have even had Momentarily laughs by the inquiry, work and turnarounds. Yet, as far as I remember my " pain " has ALWAYS returned back pretty soon after that! What has worked for me though is: - Full Awareness! Full Awareness of EXACTLY " what " I feel. Full Awareness of Exactly " how " I feel. Full Awareness of EXACTLY " where " I feel. This is kind of directly walking into the " pain " feeling in order to FULLY understand it! It is doing so with almost a child like mind just full of curiosity! And, what I have discovered that the " pain " has almost always disappeared or has greatly lessened its " scope " once I tried to become Fully Aware of it! In many cases, it has been " reduced " to a trivial " physical " sensation somewhere in the body in place of heavy emotional burden that it had appeared like before this full awareness of it! And, it is in this surrounding of " peace " that I have found " spiritual inquiry " to really work! Based on my own personal experience, my recommendation is... - Any time I feel stress, tension, fear, distress, worry the first step should be to fully acknowledge it and to directly SEE " what " and " how " exactly you feel and " where " ! Anything else can work only after you have first completely acknowledged and seen what exactly is that you feel right Now! As I have experienced, the " stress " , " tension " , fear (contraction of body) is kind of a energy build-up waiting for my full attention and acknowledgement. It is kind of SIGNAL to me and the underlying neural network is waiting for my " Conscious " " acknowledgement " and receipt before it can really let go of this signal and energy build up (muscle tension, contraction...)! And, I have noticed that FULL Attention is the way I " acknowledge " it. And, once I do that the underlying neural network [or body] lets go of the contraction [tension, stress, worry, fear] perhaps thinking that the SIGNAL has successfully reached the Master and " assured " that the Master can now do whatever the Master finds appropriate!
