Lulu: Mirror Oh Mirror, Why Oh tell me why are you so

deluded ?

M: Because it is my nature to be deluded,

And I delude everyone, those who believe in me

the same way as those who don't.

L: Mirror Oh Mirror, I believe in you, I promise,

tell me Oh tell me, is there a way out of your delusion ?

M: There is no way out of my delusion, the only way is in.

It is my destiny, always was and always will be to delude

everyone for now and for ever.

My delusion always is, always was, always has been and

always will be.

When my delusion settles, all are found is no one's delusion,

that delusion must be no one's truth.

to believe in no one's truth is itself delusional. no one's truth is an

illusion itself.

to believe that anything can be known or said of delusion....even

in negative terms is the delusional believe that delusion understands

delusion....

but delusion has ever been and will ever be DELUSION.......

In the game of 'illusion' when your 'delusion' settles.....

and slowely but steady becomes your truth

you've got to count to 100 and when all delusions are gone,

your delusion must be no one's truth.

then choose by 'one delusion, two delusions, three delusions

MORE'......

another delusion to be no one's 'truth' and that 'no one' can chase

it's own

tail again....but that tail is another no one entirely.

P: Ah! Erich, what gladness to read such

words coming from you. You have come

a long way, son. Mirror, mirror on the wall

who is the least deluded of them all? ;)

A delusion in every line has got to be just that.

L: not who is the least deluded of them all,

but which delusion is the most beneficial,

the most merciful, the most beautiful and the most delusional.

The most delusional because if we believe into the most delusional,

at least we know, that we believe into delusion.

better to believe into a pretty damn good delusion knowing that it's a delusion,

than to believe in the absolute truth not knowing that it's a delusion.

By chance I happen to find a guru who teaches me how to stop suffering and

reach enlightenment, I reach the promised enlightenment and suffer no longer.

But I am still being deluded, my new delusion is just much nicer than my old.

L: the question is not who is the least deluded of them all

because all are deluded, the seeker and the guru,

the sufferer and the enlightened ... all are deluded.

the question is, which delusion is the most beneficial,

the most merciful, the most beautiful and the most delusional.

The most delusional because if we believe into the most

Lulu

C: Thank you LuLu, very nicely stated.

Everyone who is " enlightened " is enlightened within the confines of

their own beliefs...myself included.

In the end, when all is said and done, the Skeptic wins the debate

and we can never know the absolute truth. Not because no-thing is

true, but because everything is true.

It is just a matter of choosing your own truths to believe in.

The truths discussed here on the NDP list are just as much an

illusion as any other illusion of truth. The truths I believe in are

simply the illusions I have chosen. They are no more true, and no

less true than any other illusion of truth.

But damn, they give me joy! ;o)

Do No Harm

Chuck

=========================================================

L: Dear Chuck,

I must agree !

The experience of enlightenment and joy are a delsuion, for there is no one

here to experience joy and enlightenment.

If we destroy the delusion, joy and enlightenment may perish forever, but my

goal is not to destroy the delusion, my goal is to expand it into a dimension

beyond measure, that the delusion will never perish, not when we die and not

when our delusion dies, but that they continue to exist forever.

Keep that in mind when I am going to tell you that your delusion is great but

that there is a greater delusion than that.

It is the delusion of no one's truth.

It is the delusion that no one who experiences joy and enlightenment, sadness

and suffering, doesn't exist.

And that the no one who doesn't exist, your real self, is not only

experiencing the delusion of joy and happiness in your body, but that same no

one also experiences sadness and pain in mine ...

And it is this no one, our real self, for whom we create all delusions.

Be it the no one in your body, the no one in Ian's, Pete's or Lulu's...

Remember, the no one experiencing sadness and pain, ( as delusionary as they

are, ) is the same no one as you and I are, that no one doesn't experience them

as delusionary, they are experienced as real as you experience joy and happiness

as real.

The body is different, no one remains the same.

I: What basis would you have for saying that these " truths " are

illusions? To call something an illusion presumes non-illusion.

Otherwise you'd have no reason to call it illusion. So actually you

are presuming a non-illusory truth.

L: Mirror mirror on the wall, who is the most deluded of all ?

M: I am the most deluded of all, but over the hill in the land of the seven

lies lives a mirror who is even more deluded than I.

L: Who is this mirror that you speak of ?

M: No one knows his name, his eyes are black, like the darkest night.

P: It's not possible to believe a delusion knowing it's a delusion.

To believe one needs to be consider something the truth.

L: Consider the delusion the truth.

P: What you need to understand, is that all delusion are intellectual,

and realization and liberation are not intellectual affairs.

L: Realisation is a delusion, Liberation is a delusion. Both perish with the

death of the body and mind.

P: Liberation is a revolution in seeing, feeling, and acting. This, of course,

transforms the intellect, but that is just a byproduct of a total turn about of

the

mind/ body organism.

L: yes yes, of course, why is the no one experiencing this total turn about of

the mind, not your deluded self ?

Or are you, the one among all the deluded selves in this world the only one

that is not deluded ?

Your truth must be based on truth, my delusion must be based on nothing but

pure imagination.
