I mean, i can rarely be sure i know why i do something. That could be true. But, my experience is that unless I understand 'why' I am doing what I am doing - I can not do it with my full knowledge and awareness. When I don't do something with my full awareness and knowledge - I am left with doubts that I " could be " " better " doing something else! When I have doubts that I " could be " be " better " doing something else - I can not fully be in the moment*! When I am fully in the moment - I am not peaceful. > > >When 'what to do' is really decided and it > >becomes what I am doing [i.e. I know my > >thoughts and my action is in alignment > >with my thoughts] - need for further thinking > >goes away! > > > >I have noticed that " thinking " mostly occurs > >only when I am not totally clear on what I want > >to do or if I am doing something other than > >what I really want to do. > > > >By " unresolved thoughts " , I mean thoughts that > >haven't reached their end/conclusion [a solution] > >i.e. When I am not really sure [i do not clearly > >know] what I really want to do. > > Okay, so it is mostly about knowing what you want to do. I often find that i don't know what i want but i'm comfortable with that. My experience is opposite. When I don't really know exactly what I want - I feel shaky, unsteady , uneasy and sometimes even confused. Whereas, when I fully understand exactly what I want - usually, I am steady and focused and I have less things to think about, less things to doubt an less things to be confused about. I experience this lessening of thoughts as uncluttered mind. I experience uncluttered mind as peace. Further, when I take " what I really want " to it full extent; I find out that what I really want is - peace, happiness and love! And, as I explore and experience this Peace, Happiness and Love - I find out that they are really one. Happiness is self looking inward in Peace! Love is self looking outward in Peace! And, I notice that " what I really want " [Peace] is always available to me without doing anything! When I notice that, sometimes, I first get peace [because that is what I discovered I " really " want] and only after that, I focus on doing anything else that I might want. I notice that my primary want is always available to me and whenever I become aware of that - I become peaceful! It is a pleasure to talking to you, Sarlo! Greetings, ac. > Perhaps " I really > want to . . . " is just a phrase that means something else, just as nondualists will use the word " i " as a linguistic shorthand. Words can be difficult when referring to these areas " beyond words. " > > Sarlo >
