Recommended Posts

There could be offered two mental explanations for man's unsatisfying

life on this planet.

 

One being that he is indeed undergoing some extreme form of punishment.

 

The other, that he is merely fulfilling some small role in a larger

cosmic scenario in which he is of no particular significance.

 

 

(You will please note that the latter theory is not widely held, or

even discussed for that matter.)

It's inherently futile to try to explain the desire for an

explanation. With its suspension the unsatisfactoriness doesn't

seems so unsatisfactory.
