Maharaj, above, is going even further, and saying: consciousness itself is suffering. To accept suffering seems the only way out... until death do us part. Guest guest
Unfortunatelly, it seems to me, that Vedantic mentality, is only a mentality... feeding on concepts with their endless permutations and possibilities for exotically impressive ping-pong games, for the competing philosophical minds. The _austere_ 'spirit' of a Niz or certainly a J. Krishnamurti - though it might look like it might disturb one's mine-games and fun (which it certainly pulverizes), if felt/heard with deep honesty/interest, might awaken the seeing of the necessity of 'throwing away' that entertainment strategy, and stick to real inquiry... Good idea, no? I would like to understand. You know... a dialog-inquiry is between friends who travel together and loook, look... and point to what they see... they do not indulge in cute conceptual and non-sensical cryptic exchanges... like stating " no one ever understood! " with the authority of one who truly understands. Would you not say, that the melody played thru some of these messages here, could psossibly originate from a record, scratched and defect, and that being jolted into switching to the CD version, might be - in the name of good communication - a worth while momentary discomfort?
