Guest guest
Uploaded 2 new photos. These photos are donated by a seeker and he lets them to be in public domain. The first photo shows Maharaj with younger Ramesh and a seeker. The second photos shows Maharaj at his guru's samadhi (grave) site.

" " Devotion.........is delusion. " ? With or without the question mark. Anyway, since I'm logged in; Devotion is blessing that leads to wisdom. Your remark " Devotion.....is delusion " is nothing more than an intellectual understanding and conceptual perception of a set of guidelines. Its a one-sided theoretical approach of a message that leads to intellectual smugness, or, as said before, spiritual obesity.

" it must get old after a while? > Speculating on the behavior of another human, although interesting, only leads one only deeper into the labyrinth of the dream. No one seems up to discussing the concept 'devotion is delusion'. " Devotion " .....in any form can only be directed to someone or something that is imagined to be on the outside of the delusional psychological center. Even devotion to the 'satguru' or inner guru is a delusional attempt to change and hopefully benefit the one pretending to be devoted. Oh.......I know....this probably makes you a little uncomfortable.......but instead of attacking poor old toombaru......how about attacking the ideas coming through him. It takes a little more effort.......but rewards can be longer lasting. toombaru

" isn't calling the devotion speculating behavior? it seems you're " guilty " of what you're accusing others. although i started this group out of love for maharaj, it's not a requirement to be a member but it certainly would give you an insight into my motivation for action whether you call this devotion a delusion or not. don't get me wrong toomy, you're welcome to post here and your views can be entertaining just as the next joe/jane's views... as for the delusion of devotion, it's a beautiful love affair while it lasts and anyone is lucky to have it. it may open up another perspective which may even show the delusion of devotion itself but one is lucky to experience it in the so called dream till the ideas of the guru, me and devotion all turn into mashed potatos and one goes around saying crazy things like, " all there is ...is mashed potatos. " in the summer it's better to say " all there is...is ice cream " since mashed potatos is on the winter menu.
Guest guest
> it takes a little more effort...but rewards can be longer lasting? > promised by whom? toomy the cyber guru for better and faster method > of what? Mind searches outside of itself to alleviate the accumulated tension of identification. It creates gods and gurus to beseech and adore. What I am saying is that when focused on things outside......the true glory and mystery of just being remains clouded over. The adoration of the guru is misplaced. When the eyes of the guru are seen in the grandchild.....in the street urchin......in the grocery clerk.....and in the mirror......all ideas of adoring any-thing....or any-one.....become a cleverly desguised attempt to continue the imaginary separation. > > you also say that, " Speculating on the behavior of another human... > only leads one only deeper into the labyrinth of the dream. The entity is always unable to see its own 'motivation'. (only because it doesn't have one). I have read and re-read everything that I could find that came through Maharaj. They have been....and continue to be....... a warm river flowing through this life. I adore their source......but not the mouth that spoke them. > > don't get me wrong toomy, you're welcome to post here and your views > can be entertaining just as the next joe/jane's views... > > as for the delusion of devotion, it's a beautiful love affair while > it lasts and anyone is lucky to have it. A love affair requires two. Love is the last......and most difficult......illusion to evaporate. > perspective which may even show the delusion of devotion itself but > one is lucky to experience it in the so called dream till the ideas > of the guru, me and devotion all turn into mashed potatos and one > goes around saying crazy things like, " all there is ...is mashed > potatos. Devotion is a stage that lasts until unicity is experienced............. .......where it disappears within the majesty of the moment. toombaru
