Loss Of Courage and fall of the gurus.

As long as you remain afraid of death;

you can not " leave " the Hell!

Once you surpass the fear of [ego] death;

you realize the Heaven and you realize that

the heaven and hell are both Within! The

" Courage " is your 'ticket'!

 

To enter the *heaven*, you will have to

surpass the hell. But, the hell that looks

consisting of *thick walls* when seen through

the fear of [ego] death - is seen to be only

a delusional 'mist' once the fear is replaced

by the Courage to 'enter' Death!

You can enter heaven only when you are

ready to 'leave' your 'self' at the Gate!

As the journey beyond Courage is

automatic, natural and effortless once

the Critical Point of Courage is

passed; journey below courage is also

automatic! Once one falls below the

point of Courage and is driven again by

the ego's 'survival' instincts alone -

his/her journey downward is automatic

and predictable.

 

Falling below, such a person is again

subject to same laws and is gain

subject to 'compromises', manipulation

and exploitation that a person below

the point of courage is! Such a person

is again 'forced' to live life outside-

in as being 'forced' by external

circumstances!

 

A person below this level TRULY lives

below the level of Integrity and thus,

can not be trusted. It is perhaps,

then, not " surprising " that many

" gurus " have even used the notion of

higher values such as Peace, Love and

Freedom simply to serve the needs of

their own ego! Fallen below such gurus

have done great damage to those who

have been naïve enough to deposit their

faith with them!

 

Here I partly agree with Hawkins and

his ratings and based on 'external'

evidences both Osho and Krishnamurthy

seem to have indeed fallen below the

level of Integrity in their later life!

Whereas, Adi Da has probably fallen

even below the level of 'average' human

being!

 

 

The question of " money " and " sex " too

becomes very Critical here! It is hard

to ignore the intrinsic link of " money "

and 'illicit' [close, hidden,

hypocritical, disingenuous] " sex " to

the ego 'self' and its need for

'personal' 'gratification'! A quick

inquiry would tell you that a person

who is so 'vulnerable' to 'sex' can not

be trusted in any important and

'sensitive' position as he can easily

compromise! And, true " guruhood " surely

requires more integrity than a public

office!

 

Yet, it is also true that in some

lives, here are Moments of 'rise'

beyond 'ego self' and that 'ascend' can

last second, minutes, hours or even

days and months. Such a person though

not fully established in the " integrity

zone " and beyond... can still become a

source of great teachings, literature,

arts, inventions, creations, sports and

inspiration!

 

Such a person TRULY becomes 'someone

else' in those Moments and those

Moments can come due to many reasons

including uncaused samadhis, satoris,

meditation, association with gurus,

remembrance of powerful figures or

simply due to mental exhaustion!

Creation 'via' such a 'person' can be

valuable as long as the aspirant

clearly understands that this person is

TRULY Not One! Such person abide One

SPACE is those 'divine' moments and

another where he/she leads rest of

his/her life - Below Integrity - driven

by greed, fear, pain, sex and desire!

 

[Many] Words that came via such person

can still be useful but association

with such person can be dangerous as it

can work to 'lower' the consciousness

in place of helping in its 'ascend'!
