P: The scariest thing to realize is that we are the endless

machinations of thought. Thoughts that vanish constantly

and leave only a faint trail in memory. With that ghostly

activity we have identified, and we have made it solid.

It's very hard not to identify, to give up living

within walls of smoke which offer no protection at all.

To accept that true nature is ineffable, and that any

attempt to identify with it will turn it into another thought

is one the hardest thing to do.

To be, is not to be.
