Guest guest
I'd have to agree. Words are most useful for deception. And as Krishnamurti said.... " truth is a pathless land " I think this is what this post was getting at. I also do not trust any so-called (here come the words) " religion " " philosophy " or other " path " that puts any emphasis on prayers, rituals, etc. It's a cheap imitation of the real thing, meditation. Even the word meditation is full of misleading connotations, in that there is NO PROCESS involved, or it is not the real thing. Hello everyone, and let me say that from what I have read, Nisargadatta appears to be the " real thing " ...whatever that is. I dislike the idea of an " enlightened state " ....to me it is no different from saying " catholic priest " or " pope " (a title). Of course, if it exists, I am not there, so maybe I am wrong. Even socrates said, " I know enough to know that I know nothing. " As an aside, anyone else notice a strange but wonderful detachment (and perhaps some power therein) just from reading Nisarg and then keeping his message in your subconscious? It could be dangerous, but the pointless life of desire after pain after desire after fear is more dangerous, noone gets out alive.
