I would question that.

 

 

As one of my friend likes to say:

 

- How has that been working for you, so far???*

 

 

 

 

But seriously, in my experience, this is one of the most

" common " mistake that we make especially in " relationships " !

 

We can not live " authentically " based on our 'feelings'

if our feelings themselves are 'flawed' which they often

are because these feeling often arise only due to our

wrong belief!

 

 

In such scenario, we further compound and amplify the

problem by trying to use our 'misguided', miss-informed'

[not based on Reality] " feeling " as a 'guide' to direct our

actions!

*I suspect that the reason you are looking to spirituality

and investigation is because your above stated approach did

not give you the Peace that you are looking for! Thus, perhaps,

now it is time to question the validity and usefulness of this

approach itself!

What is Amazing is that in 'blindly' trusting our feelings

and allowing them to 'direct' our actions; we often ignore

simple FACTS that each of us know.

 

FACTS that would become blatantly obvious even with

little investigation:

 

1. Feelings are NOT necessarily FACTS!

 

2. Feelings are NOT " truth " .

 

We CAN Change 'What We Think'. We CAN change

'how we feel'!*

 

 

3. When 'Moving Forward' it is More Useful to 'remember'

and FOCUS on 'purpose' and 'intent'.

 

Trying to move forward and being driven solely by

feelings is akin to walking forward with our eyes

permanently glued to the path that we have ALREADY traveled.

 

Feelings are simply the 'Story of Past'. What I DID,

what I " thought " , what has " happened " in past has

created the feelings that I experience right now! As

our movement is forward... it is More Important to

remember where we want to go and SEE where " really "

we are going!

feel' Next!
