Guest guest
I am beginning to see that the nature and reasons for the 'struggle' and conflict' in [so called] " love " " relationships " are not that much different than the reason of conflict in OTHER [political, commercial, inter- religion, international, inter- regional] relationships. The study of history and the study of current affairs teach us that the conflict in these OTHER relationships primarily takes place for: - Control - Power - Control of Resources and - Difference in beliefs and values As far as " love " " relationships " are concerned, we see couples file giving " irreconcilable " differences [of thinking - opinions, beliefs, values, habits] a reason for divorce and then fighting in court over the " control " of property, resources and custody of kids. In " married " [or 'living together'] domestic life too, the reasons for fight are pretty much same - 'who gets what', 'who controls what', 'who does what' and... who is RIGHT [conflict of beliefs and values]! In the " war " of countries, religions, regions, political parties; we see each part trying to 'hurt' other in order to win and the party which has more power to hurt [weapon, army] often wins! In " love " relationships too, once the conflict of interest [who gets what, who controls what] occurs... it often becomes a 'competition' of 'who can hurt the other more'! Usually, both get " wounded " and " hurt " but, most of the times... that who can hurt other more 'wins' just like in other relationships! " (Another word for " inequality " is " Power. " ) How does meditation On " self " as Witness (The " I am " ) Address this? The " I am, " The Witness Knows, Experiences, Everything as INFINITE HARMONY It knows, Experiences, Everything As Perfect Intelligence That is, As in perpetually Consistent Equality With Everything Else: No separation: Nondual, No " power " : No " powerlessness " All as in accordance With The Laws of the Universe Indeed, How can they Be broken? Such a delusion: Injustice. Yet, In our stupefaction, We are deluded Into believing That disharmony is possible: That we are its victims. Yet, The Witness knows, Experiences, That even " disharmony, " " Power, " " Conflict, " " Stupefaction, " Etc., Are themselves Part of that INFINITE HARMONY
