Wise

 

Enlightened

 

Question.

 

 

So, the alternatives:

 

 

" How to live harmoniously,

 

In a harmonious world, "

 

 

or, alternatively,

 

 

" How to kick ass

 

In a dog eat dog world, "

 

 

Are

 

Infantile.

 

 

An example of one is the Pollyannaish conviction that

 

Aggression is merely a mistake, and not an

 

Inevitable aspect of Darwinian survival.

 

 

An example of the other is the macho conviction that

 

Serenity and cooperation are effeminate and

 

Contemptible delusions of the weak.

 

 

One denies aggression,

 

The other sublimates it.

 

 

Both are infantile because they seek a

 

Locus of power (pater or fatherhood)

 

Within a framework of parent-child or

 

More than/less than relations,

 

Whether in the Now or in the Future.

 

 

But my personal wisdom says,

 

 

Live between and beyond

 

The Scilla and Charybdis

 

Of such dualities.

 

 

In the

 

Infinite Freedom and

 

White Light of

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

THIS

and eternal

 

 

uncertainty,

 

 

indeterminate

 

 

and
