Guest guest
Here's a challange for you: Let's see how short, macho, cliche'd, typical and " hard hitting " your next response is. Your last one totalled only six words. That's pretty good. Any sign of thought, creativity or atypicality will be penalized: Be as run of the mill as possible. Any departure from the common herd will be reported to your employer. Any sign of joie de vivre will be reported to your girl friend, who will suspect you of cheating. Creativity will be reported to your parents, who will disown you out of a guilty sense that they failed to knock it out of you while you were growing up. Any sign of open mindedness will be reported to your friends, who will suspect that you're a fag.

That must be quite an achievement for you. But you did manage to construct two coherent, although equally unoriginal, squibs. We already know you to have a good grasp on irony. Unfortunately, that's just about all you have a good grasp on, isn't it? You're certainly incapable of sincerity, unless it be the supercilious, self-aggrandizing kind. No? You're a man of limited means, Johanna. But you've managed to convince yourself that this is a virtue. Takes some work, though, doesn't it? Seems you've got your job cut out for you, in this life. See, there, again, we know your original comments were due, PRECISELY, to YOUR ENVY. MY freedom of speech--which you do NOT have, constrained as you are, to brief and elliptical jibes--is what makes you UNhappy. Not " happy, " but UNhappy. Let's get that straight. (So much for your grasp of HONESTY.) As far as " foggy mirror " is concerned, this is such a trite and overused cliche that I'm not even going to bother to address it. So, Johanna, so far you remain: admirably dull Thus, you have definitely lived up to my challenge in the almost EVERY sense: GOOD, JOHANNA!! (But, unfortunately, the word count has increased dramatically, and that is a definite failure, on your part. Remember, you're that pinnacle of low brow culture: " the man of few words. " )
