Guest guest
...............At the end of the Star Spangled Banner...... Teddy would ride that old side-steppin buckskin guilding around the arena. He could stand....upright in the saddle at full gallop....an American flag....held aloft...flappin with the fringe of his beaded coat.....he'd hold his head back.....and smile......... God...It was sumpthin. Some people were shocked when they heard.......but I wasn't really. Teddy's mom was an indian lady. Mama said that his dad won her in a poker game. She was real purty.....and my older brother used to stare at her a lot. But I never really saw what she looked like......She always was lookin down....... I never heard her name. When he drank, Teddy would get crazy and wanna fight.......Sometimes he would just pass out......and we would carry him to the pickup. He almost froze one night.......I quess it's a good thing that the bars close at 1:00. Although........maybe.........the way things turned out...........it'd be better if wooda froze.
