Guest guest
So.................At what point did you hook in to the story? Was it the: ..... " He looked a lot like Elvis " thing? .....or........maybe the 'red headed woman' got you........ Hell........even I got hooked when she appeared......I swear..........I can smell her perfume........redheads ususally don't wear a lot of red......but she did... Oh......jeeze........she got me again. Doesn't the mind just love stories?........Story tellers have cast their spell since man began......Just sittin around the campfires......eyes wide......mouth open......... Actors and actresses don't have to be very smart.....they just have to be able to convince us that the story is real........and we pay them huge amounts of money. Stories.............folks..............It's all just stories. toombaru puts his head back an laughs.......(He knows that the laughter is part of the story).........and then he laughs and laughs. toombaru

Laughter. Reminds me of a story;-) Years ago, I went to a presentation of an Adi Da film called " Laughter " in NYC. My English friend Sandra and I. We took our chairs, and I looked around at all the faces that had come to see what Laughter was all about. Serious faces. Very serious. Adi Da started talking and I have to admit I don't remember what he was talking about, but the questions from his devotees were earnest, these seekers. Adi Da with crinkling laugh-lined eyes answered each and every one, and everything seemed to vibrate with something. The movie and the NYC audience were in exactly the same room. There was a shining film or veil between me and the NYC audience, a shining film or veil between the satsang audience and these NYC persons. And the film or veil was an internal light that spread and embraced everyone and everything. It was aware somehow, and I was this welling up and this welling up was Adi Da on the brink of laughing or weeping and so I could no longer contain myself, I could no longer hold inside this light, I started laughing and weeping and could not stop. And everyone was still so serious....So very serious... I received a publication that day and in it were two pages that answered any questions about God. Yet I still did not know it was I was searching for. http://www.globalserve.net/~sarlo/Yadi2.htm Namaste my Soulmates, Anna
