Therefore,

I see any teaching on " how to "

get rid of suffering,

unnecessary, useless and

often counter-productive!

In fact,

the effort to get rid of suffering

often produces the Greatest suffering of them All!

Suffering created by our effort to get rid

of suffering is THE Suffering THAT we suffer

from most! This is the suffering that hurts

most!

And, to make it worse this effort to get rid

of suffering... blocks real growth and prevents

us from learning the lessons that suffering

[when 'not resisted'] can teach!

self-pity gets you nowhere. one must have the adventurous daring to

accept oneself as a bundle of possibilities and undertake the most

interesting game in the world -- making the most of one's best.
