Sufi Creation Story (with Anna variations on the theme)

Once upon a time, now time has not been invented yet,

since there was nothing, so t/here is the first mis-conception,

t/here was a nothing that included all possibility that had not

come into being-existence, and this swirling and twirling dance of

nothing became cyclonic in its energy and needed a way out--a

channel, so to speak, since there was no hollow reed yet for the wind

to blow through, there came upon the the embryonic cyclone, a small

insurgence of matter, and the matter grew to be biblical in

proportion, and turned itself inside out and became conceptual in the

mind of God.

(I still have no clue where God came from)

 

And so the mind of God, waking up (which is what awakening means,

after all), having slept throughout eternity (hey, after all, it's

God's dream and s/he can create anything). Had a

loooooooooooooooooongggg

stretch that stretched into everything that is was and will be, and

released all inspiration in the breath unto the void. And the void

was conceived and was filled with light. And the Light manifested in

sound. And so nothing was heard for the first time.

 

And it's still being discussed...
