Guest guest
There are four fundamental lacks of recognition which constitute ignorance of true nature, and because of this lacks of recognition, there is no appreciation of silence, of stillness, of no thought, of unknowing, and of darkness. It is not easy to come to recognize, appreciate, and abide in those because the mind has come to feel that to be is to act, to think, to perceive. That is why just sitting doing nothing could lead the mind to the five appreciations of being as if being were not. In this appreciation of being as if it were not, we abide beyond life and death.
