Guest guest
My father was my father because he was compelled by his genes, he loved me, and I loved him. That mutual love was, also, a gene thing. Now that he is dead, I'm glad he is because he is out of it. He is at peace. What better thing can we wish for those we love than peace? It'd had been better if he had not been born. If I had a son, I'd kneel before him and ask his forginess. I'd say, I was dumb, I was duped by genes, I was selfish to bring you here to suffer and die for my sins. And so, you have it, Christ didn't die for our sins, but for his father's sins. Guest guest
I remember when I was still a child. Walking on beach in sun, with hot sand between toes. And the food and siesta, and fiesta, and all people happy and all my relation - family. In mediteraan, sunny Italy. And be glad for existence. P: Is it not, exactly, that what all sons think, and do on reaching manhood? Maybe later, on becoming fathers, they think their fathers wise, but the fact remains that if Buddha was right, and life is suffering, then, to bring beings here to suffer is a cruel and selfish act, and only ignorance can excuse it.
