Guest guest
If consciousness exists, he/she starts aware of external objects or internal imaginations. If you say something more (supreme consciousness as per you) exists beyond consciousness in all human beings, then why a human being dies if food is not taken for long time? Have you heard of deaths due to hunger? If supreme consciousness above consciousness exists in all human beings, then there can never hunger deaths. at lotus feet of swami surya tigerlily_du_lac <tigerlily_du_lac wrote: Prakki >When the food is not supplied, the awareness is unable to >produce the heat energy, which can maintain the activities of the >body. When you say " awareness " do you mean consciousness? What about the supreme state, that it is beyond consciousness? That which shines on all? That eternal. Well, what about an atom? And a plant? There is some awareness there to. I don't think you speak with knowledge of supreme. Vedanta mean end of the Vedas so why speaking on Veda? Also all duality. . Guest guest
The human body is designed to die. That is because it doesn't have a separate existence. All living beings die, because life energy is flow and movement, not something static existing separately in a cage. The life energy includes all that is, moves through all that is, yet is not contained by anything that is. Life energy/awareness includes far more than the body of the human being, but it excludes nothing, not even space. Space is not devoid of energy. Energy and awareness are not-two. Therefore matter is not separate from energy. Just ask Albert. How else do you think your body and brain came to be (for a while)? To say that awareness can't form matter is like saying awareness can't form awareness. How will one know truth if one depends on one's conceptuality for knowing? The only way to know truth is to be truth, and to be truth is to be empty, and to be empty is not to rely on words as containers for awareness/energy. -- Dan (nothing new below) Nisargadatta , prakki surya <dattapr2000 wrote: > > If consciousness exists, he/she starts aware of external objects or internal imaginations. > > If you say something more (supreme consciousness as per you) exists beyond consciousness in all human beings, then why a human being dies if food is not taken for long time? > > Have you heard of deaths due to hunger? > > If supreme consciousness above consciousness exists in all human beings, then there can never hunger deaths. > > at lotus feet of swami > surya > > tigerlily_du_lac <tigerlily_du_lac wrote: > Prakki > > >When the food is not supplied, the awareness is unable to > >produce the heat energy, which can maintain the activities of the > >body. Guest guest
Awareness is Soul or Atman or pure awareness. The inert energy, which comes from digestion of food, when flows through the nervous system generates the awareness. The human being looses consciousness (awareness) when food is not taken for longer time. A part of the heat energy released from digestion of food is used to generate awareness in nervous system. A part remains as inert energy only and is utilised to operate other bodily systems. Ex: breathing system, lungs require energy to expand and contract. These bodily systems require inert energy to operate but do not awareness. the awareness disappears in coma and deep sleep and it becomes the inert energy, from which it is generated. And once again, when human being wakes up in the morning or comes out of coma, this inert energy is converted to awareness. in deep sleep, nervous system is not operational and hence, awareness does not generate. In the last stage of the patient, though digestion stops, the respiration continues. Though food is not supplied, oxygen is supplied. Instead of food, the stored fat is oxidized. Therefore the patient is alive for sometime in spite of the absence of food. After sometime, the nervous system stops functioning either due to damage in the system or due to inadequate supply of the heat energy. This is the stage of unconsciousness. Finally in the last stage, the oxidation stops and no more heat energy is produced. We say hat the human being is dead due to absence of any trace of heat and the body becomes cool. This process of death is described in Veda (Manastejasi tejassati). Just in the last fraction of a second of the time of death, a small portion of the heat energy is used in the formation of the energetic body that goes out of the gross body along with the bundle of qualities, which are stored in the mind. The scientist cannot prepare this bundle of qualities accumulated from the past millions of births. at lotus feet of swami surya dan330033 <dan330033 wrote: The only way to know truth is to be truth, and to be truth is to be empty, and to be empty is not to rely on words as containers for awareness/energy. > > If supreme consciousness above consciousness exists in all human beings, then there can never hunger deaths. > > at lotus feet of swami > surya . Guest guest
You think that energy and awareness have separate existence. Yet, you couldn't know of energy as energy without being aware. You assume energy to have a separate existence from your being-aware, but that assumption only occurs because you are aware and using that assumption. One question I've found beneficial is this: What is true, directly, immediately to, through, and as this awareness here, now? What is true that doesn't depend on the vocabulary I have, my memories, books I've read, etc.? What is immediately so? -- Dan (nothing new below) Nisargadatta , prakki surya <dattapr2000 wrote: > > Awareness is Soul or Atman or pure awareness.
