But if you get it, and are a goner -- it will only be when you see that what you are looking at, the images that form your world, and the one looking at that world, are the same " mental-emotional machinery " spinning round and round and round. Like you said, the repetition of memory images is all that the self can be. And because those memory images can be made in the form of spiritual images, the self can come to believe it is free because its focus moves to things like gurus, enlightenment, sacred teachings, holy books, meditation, whatever (or may believe it is free because it mocks those spiritual images, indulges itself in every possible " material " experience) ... The images being looked at, and the one looking at them, are the same machinery, turning and turning, formulating body images, mind images, spiritual images, material images, and all kinds of experiences and emotions to go with them ... Anything anyone says about it, no matter how on-target, will just become part of the endlessly looping self-referencing machinery. Hopeless! ;-) -- D. They drizzle a powdered sugar icing on them. Maybe Patricia will drop by with that old dog that smiles. Perhaps that little blind girl will give you one of her famous hugs. t. Sounds good. The big blind dog can give me a hug. The little girl drizzles powdered sugar on the dog's tail. Patricia will drink lemon-blueberry coffee and eat a rainbow scone. Beanily, -- D.
