Guest guest
Experience and memory seem very solid. Yet, they are interpretations. Interpretations that are reinforced socially and through " survival, " but nonetheless, interpretations. When the interpretation isn't made, experience and memory aren't. What makes it difficult is that one is going against the grain of society, survival, and the apparent reality of time. However, because society, survival, and time also are interpretations, it is indeed possible to break free. Indeed, the break to freedom involves no doing whatsoever. The one who is free is already always free. This one simply is, independent of interpretation. Interpretation brings a " me " that seems to be an obscuration of what-is. However, nothing is or ever has been actually obscured. This realization is surprising because all the evidence seems to point to people who act, think, and behave as if they believe they exist separately. Yet, once the interpretation of time isn't made or used, not only does everything melt back into a seamless dream, the dream melts back into awareness, awareness melts back into no-thingness, and nothing melts back into ... -- D.
